If Only Our Founding Fathers Could Have Foreseen

As I often shake my head in disbelief at some of the stuff I hear in the news on a daily basis, I can’t help but wonder what our Founding Fathers would think if they could see the condition of our nation in the 21st century. I’m sure they would be rolling over in their graves. Yes, they were keenly aware of the flaws in human nature, and the created the Constitution accordingly. But perhaps... What Future Candidates Should Learn from 2012 GOP Primary Season

Now that Mitt Romney has pretty much wrapped up the 2012 GOP nomination, anyone considering a future run for president from either party should take note. They are plenty of lessons they can learn from the 2012 GOP presidential nomination season. The same type of thing occurs in every presidential election year. Whether there’s an... (posted by Terry 9 days 16 hours ago.)
I Want My Analog TV Back
1

I had held out longer than most when it came to buying my first HDTV. Now I wish I had held out longer. I now think I want my old analog TV back. All of this started when I received a letter from my cable TV company to notify me that, in early June, they are going to be adding a ton of new HD channels to their lineup. Now although my community is serviced by the largest cable TV company in the U.S.... (posted by Terry 10 days 13 hours ago.)
Presidential Politics Myth #3: A President Has Control Over Oil Prices

I hear this in every presidential election year. No matter how high or low oil and gas prices might be early in the year, people will claim that those prices will begin to drop as the presidential election draws closer. They will say the president is doing it to make sure that he and/or his party will be victorious in the election. What a crock of poop! The truth is that a U.S....
