Here we go again! After a promising opening day victory against archrival Dallas, the Washington Redskins' season has soured and irreversibly headed south. As they have made a habit of in recent seasons, they have gone into an early-season tailspin from which they will not be able to recover. A 14-point loss to the hapless St. Louis Rams, a team that might not win another game this season, is an ominous sign that the Redskins are in for an even worse finish than last season, when they went 4-12. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Michael Vick put up 70 points against them this coming weekend in Philadelphia.

Can you say 1-15? Sadly, Redskins fans had better get used to the sound of it, as they may be stuck with repeating it all during the off-season. And while they're at, they should insist that Daniel Snyder sell the team to someone who actually knows something about football. Then, hopefully, that person will clean house and give Bruce Allen, the Shanahans (father and son), and Jim Haslett the boot. Then, perhaps the Redskins can become consistent winners again. But it won't happen anytime before that. I guarantee it.
